About the role
We have an opportunity for a Financial Analyst to be part of our Project Management Office, Technology & Communication Services Command. The Financial Analyst is responsible for providing proactive business and financial performance information and analysis to assist in the management of budgets and to promote efficient use of funds within NSW Police Force. The position assists with the design, development and implementation of reporting systems and analyses the information provided from these sources and others in relation to financial performance achieved within allocated areas of NSW Police Force operations. The position is involved in analysis of all aspects of financial performance, including current performance and plans and actions taken to ensure future levels of performance.
This dynamic role offers an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented Project Coordinator with a passion for financial analysis to contribute to high-impact projects that improve digital services and support smarter, more efficient operations. You’ll be at the heart of project execution, leading key components, tracking milestones, and ensuring alignment between resource allocation and budgetary frameworks. Your analytical acumen will be critical in reconciling effort against financial plans, producing insightful reports, and driving data informed decision-making across a diverse portfolio of projects. With exposure to a wide range of initiatives, this role promises variety, collaboration, and continuous learning.
You’ll work closely with stakeholders across multiple programs, navigating complex challenges and contributing to innovative solutions that enhance operational efficiency. The initial contract runs through 30 June 2026, with potential for extension.
