About the Project
We are implementing a reporting, budgeting and analysis business intelligence tool (Myoutcomes / Calumo) to optimise the Australian Museum budgeting and reporting process, including improving the ability of internal users to easily and quickly self-serve.
About the Role
Lead the adoption and development of the AM's Financial Business Intelligence tool for budgeting and reporting. Collaborate with relevant stakeholders across the Australian Museum to address their needs and integrate them into system reporting requirements. Ensure that the AM's Financial Systems reporting is accurate and reconciles effectively.
We are looking for a Financial Analyst to join our Finance team.

- Fixed term up to June 2027
- Full time 35 hours per week

You will be paid a competitive annual salary $113,574 - $125,720, plus employer's contribution to superannuation (currently 12%) and annual leave loading.
About you
We are seeking a professional with a positive can-do attitude who can work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Design, document and financial systems, and build templates to meet the organisation's reporting requirements. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills to engage effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Knowledge and Experience
- Strong understanding of financial accounting and reporting tools, with demonstrated experience ensuring data integrity and accuracy between systems
- Demonstrated experience with SAP and Calumo business intelligence tool, with advanced Excel skills
- Experience and knowledge of financial operations, accounting and reporting systems in a large organisation, including system administration and project/end-user support
- High level understanding of payroll/HR systems and processes
- Experience managing diverse stakeholder relationships in client-facing environments
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the Australian Museum
Essential requirements
- Tertiary level qualifications, or demonstrable equivalent professional experience, in a relevant discipline
