About the Role
In this role, you’ll manage end-to-end payroll processing for both weekly and monthly cycles, ensuring accuracy and compliance across a national workforce. You’ll also assist with superannuation, payroll tax, and general ledger postings, while resolving payroll queries and maintaining employee confidentiality.
Key responsibilities include:
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing using integrated HR and Time Management systems (Mitrefinch, ConnX, MicrOpay);
- Post weekly and monthly payroll journals to the General Ledger;
- Process payroll tax and superannuation payments accurately and on time;
- Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies efficiently;
- Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures, recommending improvements where needed; and
- Uphold strict confidentiality to protect employee information and payroll integrity.
About You
- Proven experience using MicrOpay;
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive, results-driven approach;
- Solid end-to-end payroll experience with the ability to interpret and apply various awards;
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong analytical skills; and
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
