Senior Stockperson (Piggery)

As a modern agri-business, Cefn also owns and operates its own genetics department, feed mill, transport, construction, and maintenance divisions.

Due to ongoing expansion, Cefn is seeking to fill a number of roles, including full time Senior Stockpersons to assist with its rapid growth. Applicants must be able to demonstrate either of the following: a minimum of 18 months recent and relevant work experience and possess at least an AQF Certificate III in Agriculture (Pork Production) or equivalent qualification OR have at least five years' recent and relevant work experience. Work experience must relate to medium to large size commercial piggery operations.

Applicants must have a commitment to performance, be proactive, honest, reliable and take responsibility for their actions. Applicants are required to have strong working knowledge of commercial pig production systems including but not limited to current animal husbandry practices, sound data collection and recording skills, working knowledge of Quality Assurance, WHS programs and the ability to manage and supervise these systems on a daily basis.

Expected yearly income is between 65k - 85k depending on the successful applicant's skills and experience.
