About the role

Join the team at Lemontree Feedlot as a fulltime Stockperson based in Millmerran, QLD. In this hands-on role, you will be an integral part of the farm operations, responsible for the care and welfare of livestock. With a focus on animal health and productivity, you will contribute to the overall success of the feedlot.

What you'll be doing

Providing daily care and monitoring the health and welfare of livestock

Cattle receiving, Induction, drafting and processing

Identifying and treating any health issues or injuries in the livestock

Maintaining detailed records on animal health, productivity, and any treatments administered

Adhering to all safety protocols and environmental regulations

What we're looking for

Proven experience as a Stockperson or in a similar farm labour role

Strong animal husbandry skills and knowledge of livestock health and welfare

Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve farm objectives

Commitment to maintaining a safe and sustainable work environment

Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays, as required

Knowledge of FY3000 would be advantageous

Capable horse riders and having own horse is preferred
