Little + Co Early Learning is seeking an experienced Senior Early Childhood Educator to work with our amazing team at our service situated at 183 Thynne Road, Morningside, Queensland 4170. Our studios run above ratio, and we pride ourselves on our small, family owned and operated service and professional and stable environment, where children and our team are prioritised.

The role is full time (38 hours per week). Applicants must be available 7am - 6pm Monday to Friday.

The successful applicant will work with their co-educators in:

providing outstanding education and care to the children in our service;

assisting in the preparation of materials and equipment for children's education and recreational activities;

preparing and conducting activities for children;

supervising the daily routine of children;

supervising children in recreational activities; and

managing children's behaviour and guiding children's social development.

Your skills and qualifications must include:

A Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care;

A minimum of 1 years' experience as an Early Childhood Educator;

A passion for working with children;

A commitment to child safety, to respecting and valuing children, to using culturally safe practices and to understand or be willing to learn about and support children's development needs;

The desire to work harmoniously as part of a collaborative team;

A current Working with Children Check;

Excellent verbal and written communication skills;

Strong computer and technology skills; and

An interest and willingness to participate in excursions (these are run frequently on foot from our service to a variety of local community facilities).
