We’re looking for a motivated, relationship-focused Business Development & Sales Manager who loves connecting with people, building partnerships and delivering results. If you’re commercially minded, confident in sales conversations and sale conversions, and passionate about regional business success, this role is for you.

What you’ll do
· Work with the CEO to develop industry development programs, setting our partners up for success
· Grow DCV’s partner network across tourism, hospitality, and lifestyle sectors
· Sell partnership packages and cooperative marketing campaigns to partners
· Build genuine relationships with tourism and hospitality operators across Central Victoria
· Maintain strong relationships and active communications with our existing partners, council partners and other key regional stakeholder groups
· Create new revenue opportunities and support partner success
· Work closely with the marketing team to deliver campaigns that convert into sustainable visitation
· Identify opportunities to tell local business stories across digital channels
· Maintain accurate CRM records so nothing slips through the cracks
· Report on sales activity and industry trends
· Provide proactive support to partners and help them get results from their investment
You’re someone who
· Has proven experience in business development, sales or partnership management
· Ideally has experience in the tourism/hospitality sector
· Can quickly grasp the needs of partners: marketing gaps, operational skills development needs and more. You’re not just selling, you’re supporting.
· Is confident pitching, presenting and converting opportunities
· Builds trust quickly and communicates with impact
· Understands the value of campaigns, content and digital marketing
· Can manage a sales pipeline, use CRM systems and hit targets
· Loves regional business and community connection
· Ideally has a deep understanding of the region’s tourism offering
· Wants every partner business to thrive, providing visitors with outstanding experiences
· Thrives working in a fast-moving environment where initiative is valued
