G&K Plant and Civil Pty Ltd are a leading provider of civil construction, utilities, concreting and plant hire services across NSW.

Given the demanding needs of the business, we now require a Quantity Surveyor to join our busy team.

The successful candidate will be required to work across Western Sydney.

The duties and responsibilities of the Quantity Surveyor position include:

Prepare cost estimates and budgets for construction and engineering projects.

Measure and value construction work (using drawings, specifications, and schedules).

Prepare bills of quantities (BoQs) and other tender documentation.

Advise on procurement methods and prepare tender and contract documentation.

Evaluate tenders and negotiate contracts with clients, contractors, and suppliers.

Monitor and control project expenditure to ensure costs stay within budget.

Assess progress claims and variations and issue payment recommendations.

Provide cost forecasting and financial reporting during all project stages.

Assess and advise on contractual claims and disputes.

Conduct feasibility studies and cost–benefit analyses for proposed developments.

Ensure compliance with building regulations, standards, and contract conditions.

Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers on design and cost optimisation.

The successful candidate will have the following:

Relevant bachelor's degree or higher qualification; AND

At least one (1) year or relevant full-time work experience.

A base salary of between $90,000.00 and $110,000.00 per annum (plus superannuation) will be offered to the successful candidate.

The successful candidate must also be passionate, proactive and have an eye for detail.
