Fortuna well established heavy vehicle mechanical workshop, with over 40 years transport & heavy vehicle mechanical experience between our team. We are currently seeking heavy vehicle mechanics and Trailer Mechanics to join our workshop team, based in Coopers Plains.

What we do:
- Rebushing Trucks & Trailers

-Truck and Trailer alignments
- Servicing and general maintenance of all heavy vehicles including prime movers, light to heavy trucks & trailers
- Diagnostic procedures
- Engine repairs
- Steering components
- Suspension components

-Mobile and onsite Repairs

The favourable applicant will posses the following attributes and skills:

Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, Diesel Fitter, Trailer Mechanic, Truck Wheel Alignment Technician

Trade Certificate for Heavy Diesel Mechanical or Trailer Mechanic (Preferred but not essential at least 3 years + experience)

Experience in General Repairs & Servicing on Prime movers

Experience working on prime movers, heavy vehicle trailers & Light Vehicles

Hands-on approach

Excellent work ethic & communication skills

Ability to work autonomously

Thrive in a team environment

Current Truck License (preferred, but not essential)

Current Drivers License (preferred, but not essential)

Must be based in Queensland

This position requires the successful applicant to work on a large variety of new and old vehicles, including fleet trucks and trailers.
