We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Rostering & Payroll Coordinator to join our passionate team supporting people with disability to live their best lives. This dual-role position ensures both efficient staff deployment and accurate payroll processing—two pillars of our service excellence.

Rostering

Maintain a 6-week rolling forecasted roster based on service needs

Manage live shift coverage in line with protocols

Proactively fill relinquished or unplanned shifts

Use reserve staff strategically to support core team wellbeing

Coordinate planned leave coverage to ensure continuity

Allocate training staff across SIL (Supported Independent Living) settings

Monitor roster compliance and optimise staff utilisation

Contribute to cultural uplift through inclusive workforce planning

Payroll

Process end-to-end payroll in compliance with Awards, EBAs, and legislation

Reconcile timesheets, leave, and entitlements with accuracy

Maintain staff records including pay rates, superannuation, and benefits

Respond to payroll queries from staff and managers

Ensure compliance with Fair Work and NDIS Quality & Safeguards Commission standards

Prepare payroll reports and support internal audits

What You’ll Bring

Experience in rostering within disability, aged care, or similar environments

Payroll processing experience and knowledge of relevant legislation

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Proficiency with workforce management and payroll systems (e.g. Easy Employer, Tanda, MYOB, Xero)

Understanding of NDIS compliance and quality standards (desirable)
