This firm is experiencing significant expansion and offers a comprehensive range of specialist services, including taxation, accounting, audit, financial planning, self-managed superannuation, and business advisory.

You'll be part of a close-knit team of accountants, working with an impressive portfolio of clients — with turnovers of up to $150 million.

About the role:
This is a hybrid role based in the Brisbane office, offering flexibility including 2 WFH days per week, adjustable start and finish times, and the option of a 9-day fortnight. The firm is committed to your career development, providing internal and external training programs on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
Responsibilities include:

• Assisting in the preparation and lodgement of BAS, IAS, and other statutory compliance
• Preparing financial statements and income tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts, and partnerships
• Staying up-to-date with changes in tax legislation and accounting standards
• Providing tax planning and general business advice to clientele with the support of senior team members

Skills and Experience:

• 2+ years of accounting experience in an Australian public practice firm
• Current and ongoing right to work in Australia
• Enjoy creating long-standing relationships with clients
• Is positive, respectful and likes to work collaboratively (tight-knit team!)
• Is undertaking or planning to undertake CA/CPA qualification - to be paid for by the firm, including study leave
• MYOB AE proficiency preferred
