About the role

We are seeking enthusiastic and experienced OSHC Educators to join our lovely small team at Machans Beach Outside School Hours Care in Machans Beach, QLD. As an OSHC Educator, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and engaging educational activities for children before and after school as well as during school holidays. No two days are the same!

What you'll be doing

Plan and facilitate a range of fun, educational and inclusive activities for children

Ensure the health, safety and wellbeing of all children in care

Develop positive relationships with children, families and the local community

Adhere to all policies, procedures and regulations governing outside school hours care

Contribute to the ongoing improvement and development of the service

Assist with general operational duties as required

Assist with administrative tasks as required

What we're looking for

Cert III or Diploma level qualifications in Early Childhood Education or a related field

Experience working in an outside school hours care or similar education setting

Desire and attributes to progress to responsible person or assistant coordinator.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Enthusiasm, creativity and a genuine passion for working with children

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Current Working with Children Check

National Police Check or willing to obtain

First Aid certification HLTAID012 or willing to obtain
