Our client is a reputable industrial services company specialising in the repair and maintenance of pumps, cleaners, and blasting equipment. With a strong commitment to safety and quality, they are seeking an experienced Mechanical Trade Assistant to join their team for a 2–3 month contract based in their large Adelaide workshop.

About the Role

You will assist the workshop team in carrying out mechanical repairs, maintenance, and general workshop duties across a range of industrial equipment. This hands-on role suits someone with a mechanical aptitude and a proactive approach to work.

What You Will Be Doing

Assisting with repairs and servicing of industrial pumps, cleaners, and blasting equipment

Running components through parts washers

Spray painting and preparing equipment for dispatch

General workshop cleaning and housekeeping duties

Supporting tradespeople with various mechanical tasks

Performing other on-site duties as required

What you will need:

Previous experience as a Mechanical Trade Assistant (essential)

Experience in the blasting or cleaning industry (highly regarded)

Forklift licence – highly regarded

Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail

Ability to work safely and follow instructions in a workshop environment
