AusRAMD Engineering is looking for a proactive Trade Assistant / Industrial Cleaner to help keep our workshop tidy, safe, and operational, while also supporting with general maintenance and logistics tasks.

🔧 About the Role

This is not just a cleaning job. While keeping the workshop clean and organised is a key part of the role, you will also be involved in:

Using power tools for simple fabrication, grinding, painting, or assembly tasks when needed

Mowing lawns and general site upkeep

Receiving deliveries and unloading trucks (Forklift operation)

Picking up and delivering materials when required (Company vehicle)

Assisting trades with manual tasks and tool handling

We’re looking for someone who can take initiative, stay busy even when cleaning isn’t required, and be a reliable support to the workshop team.

✅ What You’ll Be Doing

Support tradespeople with basic hands-on assistance and use of power tools

Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe workshop at all times

Perform regular cleaning of floors, benches, tools, and machinery

Mow lawns and keep external areas presentable

Unload trucks and manage incoming materials

Perform occasional pickup/drop-offs of materials using company vehicle

Follow site safety procedures and contribute to a positive work culture

✔️ Mandatory Requirements

Current Driver’s Licence

LF Forklift Licence

Physically fit and comfortable with manual labour

Hands-on and able to operate basic power tools

Good attitude, punctual, and willing to help wherever needed

Full Australian working rights

Experience in industrial/workshop cleaning or facility maintenance

Experience in painting, fabrication, or general trade assistance
