The Opportunity

This role offers the chance to take ownership of a high-impact platform product that connects small-business finance into partner ecosystems through modern API-led architecture.

As Senior Product Manager, you’ll lead the strategy, roadmap, and execution of a new lending capability designed for distribution through third-party platforms and marketplaces.
It’s a unique mix of technical depth, commercial thinking, and cross-functional collaboration, working closely with engineering, risk, finance, and senior leadership to deliver something genuinely market-defining.

You’ll be joining a small but high-performing product team where you’ll have real autonomy, visibility, and influence over one of the company’s most strategic product areas.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Leadership

• Own the vision and roadmap for a new lending platform product stream
  
  
• Translate commercial and technical requirements into clear product strategies and deliverables
  
  
• Partner with business leaders to identify, evaluate, and prioritise new product opportunities
  
  
• Align with engineering, risk, and commercial teams to ensure scalability and compliance across all releases
  
  

Execution & Delivery

• Lead end-to-end discovery, definition, and delivery of API-driven capabilities
  
  
• Collaborate with engineering and data teams on product architecture, orchestration, and developer experience
  
  
• Manage backlog, requirements, and success metrics, ensuring value is delivered quickly and iteratively
  
  
• Define and track KPIs that measure adoption, usage, and performance
  
  

Stakeholder & Partner Collaboration

• Act as the bridge between technical and commercial teams, translating strategic goals into executable outcomes
  
  
• Work closely with senior executives on go-to-market planning and partner enablement
  
  
• Ensure product compliance and alignment with regulatory, risk, and operational standards
  
  
• Communicate clearly across multiple teams, keeping everyone aligned and focused on outcomes
  
  

About You:

You’re an experienced product manager who thrives on complexity and ownership.
You enjoy solving problems that sit at the intersection of finance, technology, and customer experience, and you’re just as comfortable shaping strategy as you are driving execution.

You’ll bring:

• 5+ years’ experience in product management, ideally within fintech, lending, payments, or API/platform environments
  
  
• Strong understanding of platform products, integrations, or B2B technology ecosystems
  
  
• Ability to translate between commercial goals and technical execution
  
  
• Proven experience delivering in cross-functional, high-visibility roles
  
  
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills at all levels
  
  
• A data-driven mindset with the ability to define and measure meaningful outcomes
  
  
• Strong technical literacy and confidence working closely with engineers on APIs, system flows, and architecture decisions
