Description

• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes efficiently.
• Reconcile bank statements and financial records with accuracy.
• Prepare and process payroll in compliance with relevant regulations.
• Assist with month-end and year-end financial reporting tasks.
• Maintain and update accounting software and records.
• Prepare BAS and other statutory reports as required.
• Provide support during audits and liaise with external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Inter-company loans and foreign currency experience is highly regarded.

Profile

A successful Bookkeeper should have:

• Formal qualifications in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and financial reporting.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of Australian tax regulations, including BAS preparation.
• Effective communication skills for liaising with clients and team members.
