About you
You are a proactive, goal-oriented professional with a passion for vocational education and training. As a self-starter, you bring strong training and assessment capabilities, along with a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes. You are an excellent communicator who builds positive relationships with students and the student support team. You demonstrate resilience and adaptability, always seeking innovative ways to overcome challenges and improve learning experiences. You are supportive towards students but ensure you meet compliance expectations too.
You possess sound knowledge of the VET/RTO and CRICOS sectors, or you are a fast learner with the ability to grasp regulatory frameworks and training requirements quickly. Your attention to detail ensures compliance with industry standards and supports continuous improvement.
The Role:
· Trainer & Assessor -
o Diploma of Community Services ( CHC52025 preferred or CHC52021)
We have 1 role available – it can be either part-time or full-time for the right candidate.
Key responsibilities for the role include:
· adhere to all policies and procedures issued by Hopkins
· attend and participate in moderation and validation as specified by Hopkins
· maintain a Professional Development Log for each calendar year and provide update
· Ensure compliance with current legislation, regulations, and industry standards.
· Know how - Learning Management System (LMS), including assigning learning modules, managing course completions, maintaining accurate learning data, and providing support LMS access and use.
· Deliver the relevant training and assess students
The successful applicant should possess the following:
· Great presentation, written and communication skills
· Must have a Certificate IV in TAE - TAE40122
· Relevant 3-5 years industry experience in relevant roles, Cert IV in TAE and relevant certification
· experience with Learning Management System and scheduling software
· Experience with, and knowledge of the vocational training sector in Australia
· Proven stakeholder management skills
· Knowledge of RTO/CRICOS compliance
