Gateway Training Academy is a well-established, industry recognised and growing Registered Training Organisation, with four campuses across greater Perth area. We deliver high-quality, nationally recognised qualifications through our team of passionate, industry-experienced Trainers and teams.
We’re looking for an industry experienced Community Services Trainer & Assessor to deliver the CHC32015 Certificate III in Community Services at our Fremantle campus (2 days per week delivery) and Mandurah location (2 days per week delivery). Expressions of Interest are also sought for a new Perth Metro campus.
This is a full-time, permanent position — perfect for a Trainer who loves connecting with people and helping a wide range of individuals gain the required knowledge and practical skills and confidence to succeed in the community services sector.
What you’ll do
Deliver engaging, face-to-face classroom theory and practical training sessions using Gateway’s LMS and resources
Conduct assessments and support learners from a diverse range of backgrounds
Track student progress, provide ongoing mentoring and constructive feedback
Contribute towards training resource development, including delivery methods and assessment techniques
Maintain accurate records, and compliant training documentation.
What you’ll bring
Strong industry relevant experience and communication skills to engage learners at all levels
A passion for training others by championing the provision of elite community based services
CHC32015 Certificate III in Community Services (or higher)
TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent)
Current (or willing to obtain) National Police Clearance and Working With Children Check
Australian work rights.
