Baillie Hill is Perth’s newest hospitality precinct, opening in late 2025 in the heart of East Victoria Park. Home to multiple venues, dining experiences, and community spaces, Baillie Hill is set to become a landmark destination for Perth’s food, drink, and events scene.

We’re seeking an experienced and guest-focused Restaurant Manager to lead The Berwick Bar & Kitchen’s bistro while overseeing the smooth operation of The Long Hall — our dedicated function and event space.
Start date: mid-November 2025.

The Role
As Restaurant Manager, you’ll lead the daily operations of The Berwick Bistro, ensuring exceptional service, consistency, and atmosphere. You’ll also manage and execute functions held in The Long Hall, coordinating with clients and the events team to deliver memorable experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily restaurant operations with a focus on guest experience and team leadership

Manage and execute functions within The Long Hall, The Berwick’s private event space

Liaise with clients and the events team to ensure smooth planning and delivery

Lead, train, and support floor staff for both bistro service and events

Maintain high standards of presentation, consistency, and guest satisfaction

About You
You’re a hospitality professional who thrives on great service, team development, and operational excellence.

You’ll need:

Proven experience in restaurant and/or function management

Strong food and beverage knowledge

Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills

Calm, professional approach under pressure

Confidence using POS and booking systems (Now Book It, Bepoz, or similar)

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
