The Role & Business

As a proven Site Manager in the new build commercial space, you will be responsible for the end to end delivery of a $15M facility comprising of 1 standalone building & the refurbishment of 3 existing heritage listed buildings. Won through panel tender, the job has money in it and is a key project for the company with a new client.

Aided by a Foreman, Labourer and site based Project Manager, as the job gets into major structure you will likely be provided with a 2nd Foreman to push programme.

The business is financially stable with an excellent credit rating. They are non-litigious in approach and foster strong, repeat relationships with their clients and subcontractors resulting in 85% repeat business annually. With an overall headcount of 105, their turnover is around $140M and they deliver projects across 2 divisions:

New build - construction from $5 - $40M

Interiors & Small works - projects from $500k - $10M

Competing with the major players in the institutional market, their employee retention stands at 5.5 years which is strong in a competitive market.

Qualifications & Experience

It is expected you will be able to provide experience demonstrating commercial new build projects valued at $10M+ alongside good references that will attest to your skillset

You will understand the business works as a team and your success depends on the support of others led by you

Ideally, you will have delivered a minimum of 2 new build commercial projects over $10M in Australia as a Site Manager

You will ideally be trade qualified in Carpentry (not essential) and have spent time as a tradesperson and Site Supervisor as your experience grew
