About the role

Paragon Recruitment Group is seeking a motivated Claims Executive to join a leading insurer based in Melbourne CBD. This is a newly created role due to an internal promotion and would see you working on a variety of injury claims.

What you'll be doing

Reviewing, assessing, and processing insurance claims in a timely and efficient manner

Communicating with customers, claimants, and other stakeholders to gather information, update on claim status, and resolve any issues

Researching and investigating claims to ensure accuracy and compliance with policies

Maintaining detailed records and documentation to support the claims process

Providing excellent customer service and maintaining a high level of professionalism

What we're looking for

Relevant experience in a claims role, preferably within the income protection, travel, sports, or personal accident space

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess and resolve complex claims

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with customers and stakeholders

High level of attention to detail and strong organisation skills
