Scotch Oakburn College is seeking a talented and experienced Head of Human Resources and Employee Relations to join our dynamic team.
To be successful in this permanent full-time position, you will need to demonstrate excellence in the understanding and application of HR services and activities that support the College’s business needs, objectives, strategies, and challenges and is able to develop effective and cooperative relationships with staff and management to support and enable a productive and positive work environment.

What you will be doing
· Lead the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures and programmes to support the College's strategic objectives
· Oversee employee relations and workplace compliance, including managing employee grievances, discipline and performance
· Provide expert advice and guidance to managers on all HR-related matters
· Manage the HR team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture
· Develop and implement talent management strategies to attract, retain and develop our employees
· Actively contribute to the College's leadership team, influencing strategic decision-making
· Ensure the College's HR practices align with relevant legislation and industry best practice
What we are looking for
· Significant experience in a senior HR leadership role, ideally within the education or not-for-profit sector
· Proven track record of driving organisational change and embedding a high-performance culture
· Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to build strong partnerships across the College
· Thorough understanding of employment legislation, HR best practices and contemporary people management strategies
· Strong people management skills, with the ability to lead, coach and develop a high-performing HR team
· Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline
