Your new role

As a Cabinet Maker / Installer, you will play an important role in the delivery of high-quality joinery and installation work across housing trust and community housing properties. This hands-on position involves manufacturing, assembling, and installing cabinetry, benchtops, and storage solutions as part of ongoing maintenance and upgrade projects. You'll work both independently and alongside other skilled trades to ensure all installations are completed to a professional standard, with a strong focus on precision, durability, and safety. The role requires excellent attention to detail, the ability to problem-solve on site, and a proactive approach to ensuring client satisfaction. By contributing your craftsmanship and technical knowledge, you'll directly support the organisation's commitment to maintaining and improving residential living standards while upholding a culture of quality, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

What you’ll need to succeed

• Trade qualification in cabinet making, joinery, or equivalent experience
• Proven experience in cabinetry fabrication and on-site installation
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to interpret drawings, measurements, and specifications accurately
• Proficient use of hand and power tools relevant to the trade
• Current White Card for construction work
• National police check and Working With Children Check, or ability to obtain both
• Current and valid driver's licence
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently
• Strong focus on safety, organisation, and problem-solving on site
• Positive, reliable, and adaptable approach to daily work
• Effective communication and teamwork skills when working with other trades
