We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Medical Receptionist to join our team at Midvale Family Doctors, WA. This part-time role will be responsible for managing the front desk and providing exceptional patient support and administrative assistance to our medical practice.

Role Includes

Greeting and welcoming patients in a friendly and professional manner

Scheduling and managing patient appointments, ensuring efficient patient flow

Handling patient inquiries and concerns with empathy and care

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records and medical files

Assisting with insurance claims and billing processes

Providing general administrative support to the medical team as required

Ensuring the reception area is well-organised and presentable at all times.

What we're looking for

Minimum 1 year of experience as a Medical Receptionist or similar role in a healthcare setting

Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact with patients and staff in a professional and empathetic manner

Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail

Proficient in using Best Practice

Knowledge of medical terminology, billing, and insurance procedures

Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Able to work independently
