Position Title: Aluminium Windows and Door Estimator

Location: Kilburn, SA

Employment Type: Immediate Start - Full-time after probation period

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Aluminium Window Estimator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately assessing project requirements, preparing cost estimates, and supporting the tender process for aluminium window and door projects. This role requires strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work closely with clients, contractors, and suppliers to deliver competitive and precise quotations.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare accurate cost estimates for aluminium windows, doors, and related • glazing projects.

• Analyse architectural drawings, specifications, and tender documents.

• Liaise with clients, builders, architects, and suppliers to gather required information.

• Prepare and submit quotations and tender submissions within required timeframes.

• Ensure all estimates align with Australian construction codes and industry standards.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of materials, pricing, and supplier options.

• Collaborate with the project team to ensure smooth handover from estimation to production.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors and suppliers.

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in estimating within the aluminium windows and doors industry (essential).

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural plans.

• Strong knowledge of Australian building codes and glazing standards.

• Experience with V6 software and understanding of Alspec and AWS systems (highly regarded).

• Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

• Ability to manage multiple estimates and meet tight deadlines.

Qualifications

•Relevant trade qualification or industry experience in aluminium fabrication, glazing, or

estimating.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
