Your new role

This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing estimating team within a residential construction company experiencing exponential growth. As an Estimator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting project delivery from concept through to completion, preparing accurate cost estimates, tender submissions, and material take-offs while liaising closely with designers, supervisors, and suppliers. Your attention to detail and proactive approach will directly contribute to maintaining the company's reputation for quality and efficiency, ensuring every home is delivered on time and within budget. What you’ll need to succeed

• Proven experience in residential or volume home building estimation
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and pricing structures
• Proficiency with estimating and take-off software, preferably Databuild or similar
• Excellent numerical accuracy and attention to detail in cost analysis
• Ability to interpret architectural plans and specifications confidently
• Strong communication and negotiation skills with suppliers and contractors
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively within a close-knit team
• High level of organisation and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Positive attitude and adaptability within a fast-growing, dynamic environment
• Commitment to upholding company values of integrity, quality, and client satisfaction
• Relevant tertiary qualification or trade background in construction or estimating preferred
