Carers Queensland is seeking a talented Tender Development & Research Specialist to play a pivotal role in securing the funding that powers our impact. In this role, you will combine strategic research with compelling narratives to position Carers Queensland as a provider of choice and expand opportunities for carers, families, and communities across Queensland.

What you’ll do:

• Research policy, sector trends, and best-practice models to inform tender submissions.
• Write persuasive, evidence-based content that highlights organisational strengths and impact.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts, internal teams, and partners to capture expertise and validate content.
• Manage timelines and contribute to quality assurance processes for submissions.
• Ensure all content reflects Carers Queensland’s values and commitment to person-centred, inclusive service delivery.

What you’ll bring:

• Degree in Communications, Public Policy, Social Sciences, Business, or related field.
• Strong track record of developing successful government tenders or grant submissions.
• Advanced research, analysis, and writing skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and adapt communication to different audiences.
• Knowledge of the social and community services sector, including unpaid carers, Carer Gateway, NDIS, and aged care.
