About the Role
This is a 12 month contract role for a maternity leave cover. It's retail, it's B2C, it's fast paced and fun. And that's not all... it's with one of Australia's leading retail brands. Reporting to the inspiring and truly empowering Head of Marketing who reports to the CMO, this is a strategic and generalist Marketing Manager role where you will both develop the strategy but execute and deliver too. You will have 1 report of a Marketing Executive that you will coach and mentor as part of your remit. Your main objective is to run a best in class retail program for the entire marketing calendar starting with Christmas which is just around the corner. In a typical day you could be working across BTL activities likes content, copywriting to bigger TVC and ATL campaigns too.

The Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the omni-channel marketing strategy that both attracts new customers but also retains existing loyal customers via a fantastic customer experience and journey both online and in-store
• Continuously measuring and tracking campaigns, you will use consumer insights and data to ensure a strong ROI with a test and learn methodology to campaigns.
• Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders such as brand, retail, sales, channel, analytics and agencies to ensure campaigns are effective and hitting key commercial objectives
• Sign off on all creative that are going to be customer facing and lead agency relationships

The successful applicant

• Degree qualified with approx 7-10 years' quantifiable experience in marketing strategy and implementation – we want to hear results from what you've done
• Marketing all-rounder with strong B2C marketing experience who has a thorough track record within the retail space both online and in-store
• Strong commercial acumen who understands how to hit commercial objectives and get a strong ROI
• Strong budget management experience
• Exceptional stakeholder management and soft skills who can build relationships and influence accordingly too
• As a person you are extremely self-aware with a growth mindset (no big egos sorry:) )
