About the Role:
Reporting to the Sales Manager, this WA-based Business Development Manager will drive growth across the mining sector by deepening customer relationships, expanding key accounts, and presenting fit-for-purpose solutions to major mining clients across Western Australia. This role is best suited to someone who loves being on-site, enjoys meaningful face-to-face engagement, and is motivated by commercial outcomes. You’ll manage the full sales cycle, partner with technical teams on project delivery, and travel regularly to mine sites to identify challenges and create solutions.
What we need from you:
Develop and grow high-value mining accounts across WA
Conduct regular site visits in the Perth metro and regional areas (day trips, occasional overnight - accommodation, company card & vehicle provided)
Identify client pain points and manage the full sales process end-to-end
Build trust-based relationships with key stakeholders on site and in head office
Work with internal project and technical teams to scope and deliver solutions
Maintain CRM discipline and structured pipeline management
Represent the brand at industry events, expos, and client functions
What you’ll bring:
Minimum 3+ years’ experience in or servicing the mining sector (maintenance, supply, reliability or similar)
Confidence communicating with site stakeholders, supervisors and decision-makers
Proven ability to self-manage, plan ahead and work autonomously in the field
Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
Willingness to travel regularly across Western Australia
A values-driven approach—honesty, loyalty, humility, positivity and excellence
Desirable but not essential: understanding of mobile fleet A/C systems, heavy equipment reliability or experience in business development / account management.
