About the Role:

We are seeking a qualified and motivated Accountant to join our finance team. This position plays a key role in maintaining compliance with accounting standards, preparing accurate financial reports, and supporting the effective financial management of our rapidly expanding operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate financial records, general ledger reconciliations, and ensure compliance with accounting standards.

Prepare monthly and annual accounts, financial statements, and management reports for business performance monitoring.

Assist in the preparation of statutory reports (BAS, GST, PAYG, FBT) and support external audits.

Analyse financial performance, including revenue, expenses, margins, and budget variance, providing insights for management decisions.

Develop cash flow forecasts and assist with financial planning to support business expansion.

Operate and maintain ERP systems (SAP Business One) to streamline inventory and financial management.

Conduct regular reconciliations and investigate variances to implement corrective actions for internal control.

Manage payroll, superannuation, and employee entitlements in line with Australian workplace regulations.

Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely collection and payment cycles.

Monitor import/export trading transactions and inventory costs to ensure accurate reporting and effective cost control.

Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and internal control procedures.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.

• 1–2 years’ relevant professional accounting experience.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

• Experience in the use of ERP systems, ideally SAP Business One.

• Native or professional proficiency in Mandarin (essential due to client and supplier base).

• Working proficiency in English to meet compliance and reporting obligations.

• Knowledge of payroll management and Australian taxation principles.
