About the role

SA Confectionery Corporation PTY LTD trading as “Dirranbandi Bakery” is seeking a full-time Management Accountant to join our team and work on site in Dirranbandi QLD 4486. As a Management Accountant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the financial operations and strategic decision-making of our growing business.

What you'll be doing

Prepare detailed financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to support management decision-making

Analyse financial data and provide insights to help identify cost-saving opportunities and drive profitability

Review operating costs and advise on resource allocation

Assist with the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements

Set and adjust prices by calculating expenses and profit and aligning with the market price

Conduct risk assessment on purchasing new equipment or machinery, replacing or repairing the old ones, purchasing additional land or facilities

Assist with the cost estimation for the bakery extension

Support the month-end and year-end close processes

Identify and resolve accounting issues, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards

What we're looking for

Bachelor degree or higher in Accounting or Finance

CPA or CA qualification is desirable

Minimum 1 year of experience in a management accounting or financial analysis role

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide strategic recommendations

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines

Willingness to work on a long-term basis will be a benefit
