As our Management Accounting Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in driving Council’s financial performance, guiding decision-making through insightful analysis, planning and modelling. What you’ll be doing

Lead the management accounting team to deliver Council’s annual budget and proactive financial reporting.

Partner with business leaders across the organisation to provide strategic advice and financial insights.

Oversee budget reviews, forecasting, and the long-term financial strategy.

Drive continuous improvement in financial systems, models and reporting tools.

Mentor and empower your team to achieve high performance and professional growth.

What you’ll bring

Degree qualification in Accounting, Commerce or a related discipline (CPA/CA highly regarded).

Extensive experience in management accounting, budgeting and financial performance analysis.

Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills, with strong ERP systems knowledge.

Excellent communication and leadership abilities with a knack for building strong stakeholder relationships.

A proactive, collaborative and forward-thinking approach.
