About Our Client

Our client is a fast-growing technology company helping construction and property professionals deliver projects smarter, faster, and more efficiently. They’re scaling across Australia and are looking for a driven Account Executive to join their team.

The Opportunity

As an Account Executive, you’ll own the full sales cycle. From prospecting to closing, across a defined list of mid-market and enterprise construction clients. You’ll be responsible for both new logo acquisition and expansion within existing accounts, helping customers adopt innovative technology that transforms how they manage their projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Development: Proactively identify and engage new business opportunities within target accounts (General Contractors, Developers, and Owners).
  • Account Growth: Expand relationships within existing customers by identifying new projects, upsell opportunities, and implementing tailored expansion plans.
  • Sales Execution: Manage a full end-to-end sales process — from discovery calls and demos through to negotiation and close.
  • Pipeline & Forecasting: Maintain a strong, accurate sales pipeline and consistently deliver against monthly and quarterly revenue goals.
  • CRM & Data Management: Keep all sales activity and client interactions updated within CRM (HubSpot) to ensure accuracy and visibility.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay across industry trends, events, and competitor movements within the Australian construction sector. Build strong relationships with key decision-makers such as Project Managers, Directors, and C-Suite leaders.

What You’ll Bring

  • 3+ years’ experience in a B2B new business sales role, ideally within SaaS or technology.
  • Proven track record of exceeding revenue and activity targets in mid-market to enterprise environments.
  • Solid understanding of structured sales methodologies (e.g., BANT, MEDDIC, or Challenger).
  • Skilled at leveraging CRM and sales technology to drive performance and accountability.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills.

  • Experience selling into the construction, property, or built-environment sectors.
  • Existing network of industry contacts within the Australian construction landscape.
