The opportunity

Our client, a highly respected national brand, is seeking an experienced People and Capability Business Partner to join their team in East Gippsland, Victoria. This is a full-time role that will play a vital part in supporting the development and retention of top talent, as well as supporting organisational improvement and overall capability.

The successful candidate will have a demonstrated track record of successfully supporting leadership and teams through organisational change. With a passion for manufacturing, they will enjoy the rewards of implementing and supporting programs that result in growing individuals, teams and overall capability.

Key responsibilities

Partnering with team leaders to understand their strategic people objectives, and develop tailored talent management strategies;

Providing expert advice and guidance on all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, rostering, training, performance management, and career development;

Driving initiatives to build organisational capability and promote a positive, high-performing culture;

Identifying and implementing innovative HR solutions to address key people challenges;

Analysing workforce data to uncover insights and inform strategic decision-making;

Collaborating cross-functionally to ensure seamless employee experiences;

Staying up-to-date with HR best practices and legislative changes.

What we're looking for

Sound experience in an HR business partner or consultant role, ideally within a manufacturing and/or processing environment highly desirable;

Strong business acumen and the ability to align HR strategies with broader organisational goals;

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the confidence to influence and build relationships at all levels;

Demonstrated success in leading change and driving continuous improvement;

Proficient in using HR data and analytics to inform decision-making;

Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business, and/or a related field.
