Brown Contractors is a long-standing, family-owned civil construction company with over 20 years’ experience delivering road construction and maintenance projects across South Burnett, Somerset, Western Downs, Scenic Rim and surrounding regions. We are currently seeking an experienced Final Trim Grader Operator to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys operating modern, well-maintained machinery, and thrives in a professional but close-knit team environment.

About the Role

Operate graders to final trim tolerances on road construction, rehabilitation, and maintenance projects

Read and work from design plans, cross-sections, and levels

Collaborate with supervisors and engineers to achieve high-quality outcomes

Conduct daily pre-starts, basic maintenance, and report any plant issues promptly

Work across various regional council areas, with projects generally based within SEQ and South West QLD

What We’re Looking For

Proven experience in final trim grading for civil roadworks

Ability to operate using both GPS and manual trim

Current driver’s licence (HR or higher preferred)

White Card (and relevant plant tickets)

Strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and quality outcomes

Flexibility for regional travel when required
