S&M Civil Contracting are based in Kilcoy Qld and operating within the Moreton Bay Region, we have multiple Subdivision projects underway and more to commence soon. We are looking for a Experienced Civil Construction Leading Hand to join our team immediately

You must have extensive experience in civil construction, particularly in Subdivisions, Road construction, Water & Sewer Reticulation, Pits & Manhole construction, Pipe Laying and Drainage, running projects as a 'hands on' Leading Hand is a pre requisite for these hands on positions. You will work closely with the Business owner to support the crew, drive daily progress, and have site/s running efficiently. Must have a strong interest in the civil construction industry, be reliable, driven and hardworking.

Position would suit an individual wanting to secure a long term position with a well established civil contracting company working on Subdivision projects in the Moreton Bay Shire.

Role Responsibilities:

Supervision and coordination of construction crews including subcontractors, suppliers, plant and equipment

Maintaining compliance with construction plans and project specifications

Ensuring work is delivered safely, on time, and to a very high standard

Skills & Qualifications:

Proven leadership skills

Thorough knowledge of drawings, specifications and quality requirements for all site related works.

Strong sense of teamwork

Experience in Pipelaying, building pits, concreting and road construction

Multi Skilled in plant operations.
