Disability Support Worker – Opendoor
Location: Victoria
Work type: Casual, 20 hours per week

We’re currently seeking Disability Support Workers to join our team, working alongside the NDIS Operations Manager and Rostering Coordinator to deliver high-quality, person-centred support.
What you’ll do:
Support people with disabilities to engage in recreational, social, and educational activities.
Empower individuals to learn new skills, practice existing ones, and set achievable goals.
Implement and maintain Person Centred Plans that reflect each individual’s needs and aspirations.
Provide assistance to access community and recreation facilities.
Maintain accurate participation and progress records, ensuring confidentiality at all times.
Collaborate with other team members to provide a consistent, high-quality service.
Work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, to meet participant needs.
What you’ll bring:
Essential:
Current Victorian Driver Licence
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
Current Working With Children Check
First Aid Level 2 Certificate
Desirable:
Certificate III/IV in Disability or equivalent
Medication Administration, Manual Handling, and Infection Control training
A passion for supporting people with disabilities and upholding their rights.
Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt to different audiences.
Ability to work independently, use initiative, and solve problems effectively.
Professional, team-oriented approach with a sound understanding of person-centred practice.
Solid computer literacy and attention to detail.
