The company operates eight warehouses on the east cost of Australia including the main manufacturing facility located in St Marys, Western Sydney. The St Marys facility manufactures lubricants to supply our customers throughout Australia and our exports markets.

This scope of this position is to work with our production planning team in executing the production plan in the factory. This will include managing all staff, planning all filling runs, blend scheduling, tanker movements, fill line preparation, scheduling & planning of production raw materials and ensuring every element of production is managed efficiently, safely, to our high standards and aligns with the production plan. It is a factory based, hands on role. As this is a new position to support our team immediate start is available.

What you will be doing :

Executing the production plan in the factory

Overseeing the setup of filling lines

Managing a team of 10 staff in the manufacturing and production area

Recruiting and training the production team

Liaising with suppliers and Gulf Western planning & procurement team coordinating raw materials and logistics

Identifying opportunities for efficiency and cost improvements across the operation

What we are looking for:

Background in manufacturing, production planning and packaging

Five years or more experience in a similar role

Hands-on, can-do attitude

Works well with other people and experience in managing team

Mechanical and maintenance experience helpful

Solid problem-solving skills

Experience / knowledge with lubricants a strong advantage

Intermediate to advance skills in MS Office
