Through its Love of Learning Program, The Pyjama Foundation trains volunteer mentors ‘Pyjama Angels’ who are matched with a child in need. ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
We’re looking for an enthusiastic Fundraising and Communications Coordinator to join our Brisbane team, based at our Albion office.
This is a varied and creative role where you’ll help share our story, grow awareness of our programs, and support fundraising activities that make a lasting difference in the lives of children in care.

ABOUT THE ROLE
You’ll support marketing, fundraising, and event activities across the organisation. Your work will help strengthen community connections, inspire donors, and increase awareness of The Pyjama Foundation.
Key responsibilities include:
Creating engaging content for social media, newsletters, blogs, and our website
Coordinating campaigns and appeals with the fundraising team
Designing marketing materials, speeches, and other written content
Supporting event coordination, logistics, and promotions
Assisting with grants—writing, reporting, and maintaining records
Building relationships with media, influencers, and community partners
Supporting volunteer communications and managing our online volunteer community
ABOUT YOU
You’re a creative and organised communicator who thrives in a purpose-driven environment. You’ll bring:
A degree in Marketing, Communications, PR, Journalism or a related field
More than 1 year experience in marketing coordination or similar
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and creative flair
Experience using Canva and Adobe
Solid organisational and time-management skills
A proactive, hands-on approach and ability to manage multiple projects
WHAT’S ON OFFER
Two days per week work-from-home (once fully trained)
