About the role
Austin Engineering is a global manufacturer of mining equipment and our sales team in Perth is looking for a Parts Interpreter (Administration).

This role is an administrative support role managing the spare parts of the heavy mining machines and working closely with our sales team providing accurate and timely responses and quotes to our clients.

What you'll be doing

Maintain spare parts mailbox and spare part quotes to respond to clients in a timely manner.

Respond to client estimated time of delivery requests.

Ensure achievement of business performance against budget, by providing accurate job quoting.

Compile quotes in the Oracle – NetSuite system

Liaise with internal and external customers to formulate estimates, and make changes as required

Review drawings, specifications, and other technical documents to ensure quotes are complete and accurate

Provide suggestions for improvements to spare parts process.

Review completed jobs against estimates to inform future quotations.

Record and store meeting minutes

What we're looking for

3- 5 years of industry experience in a similar role of preference

Tertiary qualification in Business administration or similar or demonstrate good understanding of Business Acumen

Sound computer skills and ability to work with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, SharePoint etc)

Excellent verbale and written communications skills

Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders

Previous experience with ERP systems

Sales and Customer experiences

Demonstrated experience to work within a small team
