Environmental Earth Sciences (EESI) is looking for a Principal Environmental Consultant to take the lead on business growth across their Contaminated Sites division in Sydney.

This is a commercial, client-facing role – perfect for someone who knows the contaminated land space, thrives on building relationships, and enjoys driving new opportunities through trusted networks and strategic partnerships.

You’ll be supported by a strong technical team (including three EPA Auditors) and a State Director handling delivery and people management – freeing you up to focus on what you do best: winning work, deepening client relationships, and shaping project pipelines.

What you’ll be doing:

Leading business development and client engagement across NSW

Leveraging your existing network to open new opportunities and partnerships

Driving growth in contaminated land and remediation projects

Collaborating with senior leaders to position EESI for future success

Providing strategic input on bids, tenders, and client strategy

What you’ll bring:

Strong commercial acumen and client development experience

Deep understanding of the contaminated land and remediation market

Established relationships across infrastructure, development, or government sectors

Confidence leading business growth within a technical consultancy environment
