The Role
We are currently seeking a Case Manager to manage workers’ compensation claims within a self-insurance for 4 to 8 week contract role. You will play a key role in coordinating care for injured workers, facilitating return to work plans, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation. This role offers the opportunity to be part of a transformative business model where your work will directly shape the future of service delivery in this space.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end workers’ compensation cases for injured employees
  • Coordinate medical care and rehabilitation plans with providers and internal stakeholders
  • Support return-to-work initiatives in collaboration with management and employees
  • Ensure all claims are handled in accordance with relevant laws and regulations
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records
  • Provide empathetic, informed support to injured workers throughout the claims process

Experience Required:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in workers’ compensation case management, ideally in a self-insured environment
  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business Administration related field (desirable)
  • Strong knowledge of workers' compensation legislation
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple cases
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
