About the role

Summer is approaching and we are looking for a seasoned FOH champion to join our vibrant team at The Cock and Hen in Twin Waters on the Sunshine Coast in QLD. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to contribute to our fun and busy cafe. The role is permanent with casual hours over a 7 day week roster with flexible weekend work.

What you'll be doing

Providing friendly and knowledgeable customer service, ensuring a positive dining experience for all customers

Maintaining a clean, well-organised and inviting cafe environment

Assisting with general cafe operations

Contributing to a positive team culture and supporting junior staff members as required

Preparing and delivering cold beverages

Assisting with the preparation of hot beverages

Assisting the FOH and kitchen operations as necessary

What we're looking for

Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar busy cafe

Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team

Good organisational and time management capabilities

Flexible and adaptable approach to work schedules and duties

Ability to work over a rotating weekly roster approximately 25-30 hours per week
