About the role

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic wait staff/cafe all-rounder to join our dynamic team at Hobby Lane in Mitchelton, QLD. In this casual role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our bustling cafe.

What you'll be doing

Greeting and seating customers in a friendly and welcoming manner

Taking food and beverage orders, communicating them to the kitchen, and ensuring timely and accurate service

Preparing and serving coffee, tea, and other beverages to our customers

Maintaining a clean and tidy cafe environment, including clearing and setting tables

Assisting with light food preparation and restocking of supplies as needed

Providing excellent customer service and addressing any customer inquiries or concerns

What we're looking for

Some experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a cafe or restaurant environment will be great. We can provide training if needed.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide friendly and attentive service

Excellent time management and multitasking abilities to handle busy periods efficiently

A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean and organised work environment

A positive, enthusiastic, and flexible attitude to adapt to the needs of the business

Barista skills are advantages.
