Davidson is proud to partner with a global financial services institution expanding its retail banking footprint in Australia. Our client is looking to deliver a next-generation Digital Wallet Banking product tailored for the Australian market.

About the Role
As the Banking Delivery Lead (Retail), you will be the critical delivery bridge between the global parent organisation and the Australian business. Based in Sydney, you will own end-to-end delivery to achieve a seamless, compliant and customer-centric MVP launch.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary delivery lead and liaison between the global parent and Australian business units across product, platform and integration workstreams.
• Drive all Service and Product Design activities for the Australian market and ensure tight integration with the existing global platform.
• Plan and deliver the MVP Digital Wallet, tracking milestones, dependencies and risks with clarity.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams (technology, product, compliance, marketing, operations) across multiple time zones to maintain momentum.
• Proactively manage competing timelines, resolve blockers and provide crisp executive-level reporting.
• Engage, influence and align senior stakeholders globally and within Australia.
• Foster a transparent, collaborative delivery culture focused on outcomes and quality.

About You

• Proven delivery leadership in retail banking, ideally with digital wallet and/or payments experience.
• Track record delivering MVPs and complex platform/product integrations to tight timeframes.
• Experience acting as the bridge between a global parent and a local market/business, coordinating disparate teams.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills; confident engaging senior executives.
• Strong grounding in service and product design for banking; knowledge of Australian regulatory and compliance settings is highly desirable.
• Comfortable operating across multiple timelines and time zones.
