Data Migration Lead - Major Salesforce Transformation Program

Our client is with a large-scale organisation undergoing a significant digital transformation, including one of the biggest Salesforce implementations in the sector. As part of this program, they are looking for a Data Migration Lead to take ownership of the migration strategy across multiple systems.

This is a high-impact role where you'll be working closely with senior stakeholders, delivery partners, and technical teams to shape and execute a robust migration plan.

Duties

• Lead the development and execution of the data migration strategy across multiple systems.
• Resolve key decisions around data cleansing, migration methodology, and load execution.
• Work closely with delivery partners and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth and accurate data transition.
• Present migration plans to governance boards and ensure alignment with standards.
• Collaborate with project managers, technical teams, and business units to manage dependencies and timelines.

About You

• Proven experience leading complex data migrations in large enterprise environments
• Strong understanding of Salesforce platforms, ideally including Marketing Cloud and Education Cloud
• Ability to navigate governance-heavy environments and work with architecture and compliance teams
• Confident communicator who can influence, challenge, and present to senior stakeholders
• Strategic thinker with a hands-on mindset
• Experience in the higher education sector is a bonus, but not essential
