The Opportunity

Talenza has partnered with a leading organisation in the essential services sector to find an experienced Test Analyst. Working on one of the organisation's core billing platforms, this role is crucial to ensuring smooth delivery of high-quality software solutions that directly impact more than 1.7 million customers across the state.

The Role

As a Test Analyst, you'll play a key role in testing enhancements and changes to the organisation's primary billing application (HiAffinity). Your goal will be to ensure software meets quality standards and defects are identified before release. This role is ideal for someone with experience in utilities or telco billing systems and a strong grasp of modern QA practices.

Key Responsibilities

Write clear, comprehensive test scenarios and test cases

Execute manual and automated test cycles for software releases

Identify, document, and track software defects

Collaborate with developers, BAs, and project teams

Support QA activities throughout the SDLC using Agile and V-Model methodologies

About You

You're a detail-oriented Test Analyst who thrives in dynamic environments and has:

2+ years of experience in software testing roles

Exposure to HiAffinity or other large-scale billing platforms (utilities or telco preferred)

Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

ISTQB certifications (CTFL, CTFL-AT, CTAL-TA) - nice to have
