Green Light Worldwide is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Test Analyst / QA Engineer to join our technology delivery team on a full-time basis.
This is an exciting opportunity for a junior professional looking to develop hands-on experience in both manual and automation testing within a supportive, collaborative, and fast-paced environment. You will contribute to ensuring application reliability and quality across enterprise and government transformation projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans and test cases based on business and technical requirements.
• Perform manual and automated testing to validate system functionality, performance, and user experience.
• Support regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) activities.
• Identify, document, and track defects using Azure DevOps, JIRA, or equivalent tools.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date test documentation, including test results, defect logs, and reports.
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, and project managers to ensure timely issue resolution.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of automation test scripts and frameworks.
• Participate in code reviews and quality gate discussions to support continuous improvement.
• Learn and apply modern testing practices, tools, and frameworks under the guidance of senior QA professionals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 1–2 years’ experience in software testing, QA support, or a similar technical role.
• Understanding of software testing methodologies, SDLC, and Agile delivery frameworks.
• Exposure to test management or issue tracking tools such as Azure DevOps or JIRA.
• Interest or experience in test automation (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress).
• Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Must be an Australian Citizen — applicants with an existing Baseline or NV1 Clearance, or those willing to obtain clearance, are encouraged to apply.

Desirable

• Exposure to API testing, automation scripting, or cloud-based testing (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), or DevOps practices.
• Certification such as ISTQB Foundation Level or equivalent.
• Experience working in government or large-scale enterprise environments.
