Ascend Recruit are seeking an experienced Estimator to join a highly regarded design and construction business in Brisbane, well-known for their amazing culture, supportive leadership team, and high-quality commercial and office fitouts. This role has become available due to strong company growth and a busy pipeline of upcoming projects.

About the Role Working closely with the Director and Design Team, you’ll take ownership of the estimating and tendering process across a diverse range of fitout and refurbishment projects. This is an opportunity to work within a tight-knit, collaborative team where your ideas and contributions are genuinely valued.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates and tender submissions
• Conduct quantity take-offs and review drawings and design documentation
• Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to source competitive pricing
• Support the design and project teams with cost planning and value engineering
• Maintain BOQs, budgets, and project cost reports

About You

• Proven experience as an Estimator in fitout, interiors, or refurbishment
• Strong knowledge of construction costs, trade packages, and documentation
• Detail-oriented with excellent communication and organisational skills
• Confident working across multiple tenders and deadlines
