About the Role

As a Clinical Nurse Trainer, you’ll design, deliver, and evaluate high-quality clinical education programs that empower our workforce to deliver safe, effective, and person-centred care.

With a focus on NDIS and aged care services, this role plays a key part in improving service quality, regulatory compliance, and customer outcomes. You'll combine your clinical expertise with strong facilitation skills in a collaborative and values-led environment.

Key Responsibilities

Design and deliver engaging, competency-based clinical training programs

Develop tailored modules for complex care (e.g. diabetes, PEG, epilepsy, wound care)

Coach, mentor and clinically supervise frontline staff to build clinical confidence

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet quality and compliance standards

Evaluate training effectiveness and drive continuous improvement

Travel intra- and interstate to deliver impactful, face-to-face training sessions

About You

You're a confident educator and experienced clinician who thrives on developing others. You translate complex clinical knowledge into practical, hands-on learning and understand the nuances of disability and aged care service delivery.

What We're Looking For

Experience delivering clinical training and assessment in health, disability, or aged care settings

Excellent facilitation and presentation skills, adaptable to a variety of learning styles

Knowledge of NDIS Practice Standards and Aged Care Quality Standards (highly regarded)

Experience in training design and curriculum development (desirable)

Qualifications

Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse

NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or willingness to obtain)

Working with Children Check – state equivalent (or willingness to obtain)

Australian Open driver’s licence

Full working rights in Australia

Completion of the NDIS Orientation Module – Quality, Safety & You (or willingness to complete)
